We here at Health Fit wish to offer a service like no other out there.
We are 2 personal trainers, that met while following our passion for fitness and are now husband and wife. We have previously had our own businesses, SMC Fitness and G.O.S Fitness. We decided to combine our love for fitness and health, and open up a studio where all types of people from all walks of life can achieve their personal Health and fitness goals.

Meet Your Trainers
I am a qualified FETAC level 5 in sport, recreation, and exercise, personal training and fitness instructor since 2010. I specialize in suspension training, RIP 60, step aerobics and have been actively training my clients, in SMC Fitness for over 7 years. I teach an array of classes from BoxFit, suspension classes, step aerobics to circuits. My passion lies with strength and conditioning with the Olympic bar and free body weights to work towards a strong, lean and toned body. I love the buzz of each and every class I have the pleasure of teaching.
It wasn’t always fitness and fun in my life. Being a single mom of 2 by the age of 24 had its tough moments, but also some amazing rewards of course. But too much social living took its toll on my health. Life had its ups and downs as it has for most of us. And so it was in 2009 when I lost my mom to cancer that I decided to better my life, not only for myself but for my kids and family. I started my own personal journey into the health and fitness industry and I loved every second of it. From training in a local gym Monday to Friday, surfing, hiking, walking, swimming at the weekends and generally upping, not just my fitness and health level, but my energy levels too, and feeling happier in general.
It was around this period that I realised that I had the capability to motivate and help others around me, so I took the next step and ventured into the fitness world as a career. With a positive outlook on life, I believe health and fitness go hand in hand with a happy and well-balanced lifestyle and I am hoping to be able to help anyone who’s looking for that extra motivational nudge!!

I got into fitness at a very young age through my first passion, rugby and had the privilege of being selected in the Connacht rugby academy for 3 years from the age of 17 where I trained and learned from professional athletes and coaches day in and day out.
In 2005 after returning from traveling, my life was at a crossroads. I decided to quit my job and follow my passion for health and fitness.
When I qualified as a PT, I worked in Body Dynamics from 2011.
I am dedicated to continuously upskilling and have attended courses and seminars with some of biggest names in the industry. Dr. Layne Norton, Ben Coomber of Body type nutrition and Andy McKensie are an inspiration and it was an honor learning from them.
I am very passionate about what I do and I believe that a healthy balance in life is key to results in this day and age.
